This week, Ami Pedahzur and the Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies hosted Israeli journalist and filmmaker Shlomi Eldar. Shlomi is an award-winning craftsman. He specializes in telling the complex story of human-beings trapped in the Israeli-Palestinian crisis. It was a privilege to host him. In the very near future, Shlomi will be working on his third book project. During that time, we hope to host him at the University of Texas at Austin. The class explores the various social science theories that attempt to explain the phenomena of suicide tactics, with a special emphasis on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. 21 January 2014.
